* Manage the IT Infrastructure Group in regards to planning, maintaining and monitoring global IT infrastructure, including desktop/laptops, servers, network, printers, storage, videoconferencing and telecommunications/voice services.
* Create an infrastructure strategy, roadmap, policies, and standards based on business plans and application requirements; syndicate with IT staff and business units.
* Plan and manage infrastructure systems projects; syndicate project plans and status with IT staff and business units.
* Coach and direct IT Infrastructure personnel to achieve departmental and personal goals; perform performance appraisals.
* Ensure availability of Infrastructure Group staff for upgrades, support, or projects that may occur after traditional office hours, including on-call availability.
* Provide input into the overall IT information security program, including the creation of business continuity, disaster recovery, and contingency plans for IT.
* Maintain awareness of IT infrastructure trends, technology, and regulations that could impact the organization.
* Develop and manage relationships with technology infrastructure vendors / contractors in order to effectively purchase, maintain, and implement appropriate infrastructure tools.
* Work with IT staff and business units to develop business cases for major infrastructure purchases.
* Develop, track, and control operating and capital budgets for the IT Infrastructure group.


Job Requirements
* B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or related field
* 10+ years of computer infrastructure/network experience
* 4+ years of management experience.
* Experience with Windows environment (Server, Exchange, desktop tools, etc.)
* Experience with telecommunications / VOIP
* Experience planning, managing, implementing and maintaining Wide Area Networks and Local Area Networks
* Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection, encryption, certificates, application development security best practices
* Experience implementing videoconferencing a plus
* Experience supporting Oracle database / ERP environment a plus
* Global infrastructure experience a plus



Location: Albany, New York
Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000
