The Information Technology Project Leader is responsible for managing multiple applications development enhancements to successful completion.  Additional responsibilities include the creation of User Requirements Documents, Functional Requirements Documents and Business Process Maps.



SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Quickly understand the business processes of various organizations so that the solutions will fit their process, or we will understand how the process needs to change
  • Work with Business Owners to define project requirements, build business cases, help prioritize solutions and scope the efforts required to deliver solutions.
  • Track and report development status (schedule, budget, milestones, metrics, key events, risks and issues)
  • Responsible for analysis, design, on time development, testing and ongoing support for applications such as ERP (Oracle e-Business)
  • Participate in test cases and script development.
  • Provides regular timely reporting to project team members, IT leadership, and internal customers.
  • Works with development team colleagues to create, maintain, and continuously improve development best practices.
  • Exhibits safety awareness and safe work practices.


Requirements

Required Qualifications

 

  • BS/MS, preferably in a technology discipline
  • 5+ years overall working in an IT applications development area required; additional experience in infrastructure (servers, networking, etc) a plus
  • NET Application Development, C#, VBA, ASP desired
  •  Experience with Oracle e-Business Suite 11.5 applications, programming and database 10g preferred
  • ERP experience required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well with others and reconcile differences among resources/departments
  • Excellent written/verbal skills with demonstrated ability to present compelling proposals to a non-technical audience
  • PMI/PMP, Six Sigma or Lean Methodology Certifications desired
