Description

The Program Manager will plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of customized CRM. The Program Manager is also responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing integration systems and applications. This individual will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide his/her development team on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems.

Responsibilities

Lead all areas of CRM development by evaluating proposals, identify potential problem areas, and make the appropriate recommendations.
Ensure development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
Review and analyze existing application effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
Partner with Technology Adoption and Data Quality Teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage the development and deployment of new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing CRM supporting applications throughout the organization.
Research and recommend software products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.
Participate in feasibility studies for software and system products under consideration for purchase and ensure that any new software integration meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications.
Manage and provide direction for the application development team in support of business operations.
Provide leadership to project managers and programmers working on development project teams.
Design, develop, and install enhancements and upgrades to systems and application software.
Liaise with network administrators and software engineers to assist with quality assurance, program logic, and data processing.
Cultivate, disseminate, and enforce functional policies, procedures, and quality assurance best practices.
Where necessary, prepare, establish, and monitor budgets.

 

Position Requirements

Education & Certification

Four-year college degree in computer systems design or computer science.
Certifications in PMI and ITIL.

Knowledge & Experience
8+  years direct experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management.
Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of software solutions.
Direct, hands-on experience with automated software and system management tools.
Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
Extensive experience with core software applications, including ERP and CRM systems
Project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.
Knowledge of database design and file management techniques.
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

Work Conditions

Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
Some international and domestic travel may be required for the purpose of offsite software and system development management.
